I am Jyotirmaya Singh Chauhan, an enthusiastic and disciplined student from New Delhi with a strong academic foundation in science and mathematics. Alongside academics, I have developed leadership skills as School Defence Minister, House Captain, and NCC Senior Under Officer. I actively contribute to community transformation projects, vocational training for rural women, plantation drives, and awareness campaigns. I believe in balancing intellectual growth with physical fitness and discipline, which I pursue through sports, adventure activities, and NCC training.
My short-term goal is to excel in my Grade XII examinations and secure admission in Computer Science Engineering at a top global institution. In the long run, I aspire to lead an innovative, world-class organization that integrates technology, sustainability, and social development to create meaningful impact.

Science and Technology
- Indian Space Research Organisation Young Scientist Program (YUVIKA 2023): Selected to represent my state and gained hands-on experience in satellite tracking, rocket modeling, and operating an Automated Self-Guided Rover at the U.R. Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru.
- MANAK Inspire Award Winner: Received a cash prize of ₹10,000 for the innovative model of an “Automated Person Counter System” at the district level organized by Department of Science And Technology, New Delhi
- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL): Visited HAL, Bengaluru, and gained practical experience by operating a fighter jet simulator.
- Mentorship & Networking: Interacted with notable figures including ISRO Chairman Mr. S. Somnath, Sqn. Ldr. Rakesh Sharma (first Indian Astronaut), and senior scientists from ISRO and NASA.
Social Service & Community Leadership
- “Community Transformation Project”: An active member since 2016, leading teams to organize awareness campaigns (e.g., “Say no to pollution”), conduct plantation drives, and organize donation camps for old age homes and orphanages.
- Rural Development Initiative: Led a team to provide vocational training and skill development workshops for women in two adopted villages (Baheti and Padra Sikandarpur), generating income by selling their finished goods at city fairs.
- International Recognition: The team’s social work was recognized and appreciated at the International Social Science fest organized by CMS Lucknow.
NCC and Sports
- Raksha Mantri Commendation Card 2024: Awarded the highest NCC award for exemplary contributions to social service.
- Sansad ( Senator) Kabaddi Championship 2022: Winner at the district level.
- Athletics: Winner of the 400m race at the district level.
- NCC Cadet: Received “Best NCC Cadet Award” and winner of the 50m Range rifle shooting competition.
- Adventure Sports: Completed Sports Climbing Level 1 course from the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi.
Environment
- “Climate Warriors” Team: Represented the school at the Climate Change Challenge organized by Burjeel Holdings and the University of Oxford.
- Plantation Drives: Led a team that planted over 500 saplings at various locations, including a District Hospital, District Jail, and a power plant.
- SDRC Project: Voluntarily contributed to community service during my summer break by participating in activities such as empowering marginalized women , educating underprivileged children and organizing antipollution drives under the Sustainable Design Research Consortium Project.
